Background Informationon the Artist
E.T. Baldy is a healthcare executive and former Associate Administrator of a large university hospital in Washington, DC who has established a second career in the arts.
Mrs. Baldy is a self taught landscape and portrait artist who works in a variety of mediums. She has always had an interest in drawing and painting and, over the past few years, has devoted more of her time to the study of portraiture and painting. Her passion is painting seascapes and portraits, including the occassional animal/pet portrait.
Accomplishments
She is also a published poet and, most recently, was honored by The International Society of Poets who named E.T. Baldy an honorary "International Poet of Merit" for 2006. She is also included in The International Who's Who in Poetry 2005 volume.
The Editors of The International Library of Poetry were thrilled to inform her that her poem , I Am Me-Well Versed collection, was given their prestigious Editor's Choice Award in 2006 because of it's artistic accomplishments and unique perspective.
